Monochrome Days – Chapter 24

The first thing Barazono-sensei mentions, which is an excellent point, is the difficulty in writing a good fantasy series. Of course, more than likely what is written here is more of an ideal aspect. A fantasy series can be ridden with common tropes that are easy to catch on to. Though the execution of the tropes is another key aspect, perhaps this series will examine that down the line. The key point is that when writing a fantasy series, you have two variables to juggle, while those using reality as the setting have that given. Another point, though, is when the setting is historical because readers might not be aware of that time period.

Curious to see how they match up against the other mangaka.
