A very interesting first episode, as we have Tomi-Hime, a princess of the forgotten gods. It is mentioned that they eat humans to survive to continue living on. It’s interesting to learn that humans and the forgotten gods used to live together, where they were known as the gods. It’s interesting to learn that the humans took the place of these gods and their existence faded away.
The interesting part is where we see Tomi-Hime having no blood for her wound until she kisses Himekawa. Unlike at the beginning of the episode, it does seem clear she is in love with him. That gives her wound blood, whereby it seems it gives her aspects of being human. She also desires to understand what the sweets taste like. Do these forgotten gods originally used to be human, I wonder?
