This might have been the best episode so far, more so because it avoided the normal love triangle tropes with how it told this episode through Hashiba’s POV.
The first is his dynamic with Yoshida. The interesting thing is these two have so much in common. In most RomComs these would be the pair you think would end up together. Of course we know Yoshida likes Yano.
Though where this episode really won me over is how Yano won over Hashiba. Yano is just a genuine good guy, but you can see he acts similarly to Hashiba as he does with Yoshida. When Hashiba offers the drink back to Yano he is taken aback, like it is a weird thing, when in reality it isn’t. I still feel like something happened to Yano and I am wondering why because we already met his father, who is a genuine good guy.
Though I got a good laugh out of Yoshida wanting to investigate how those two became friends. The even funnier part is when Hashiba wishes Yoshida good luck because we know she is going to need it.
