It’s really cool to see both Nona & MIramira experimenting in these critical situations. Kind of the point is, as mages, their lives are always on the line, and it is better to try than to not try at all. Gheer’s comment of mages being below human is quite disturbing, but it isn’t surprising to hear, sadly.
