One thing that was interesting at the start of the chapter was Cariott’s interaction with Ed. It appears that all of them were students of Logwell. He only cared for guiding Cariott to become a Magia Vander. At the very least it is clear where his frustration with Will wanting to reach the tower was from the beginning of the series.
Still, the mission for Workner, Edward, and Clairie, alongside Will, is to go to Samios to check on the other Goliath forces. With Will, you will also have every one of his notable classmates joining him. Makes sense to have each element. Well, Kreutz being the representative of the Light is a bit of an annoyance, but he will be useful.
It’s really cool to see the dwarves create a station in the dungeon. No doubt this makes things much easier. Though one concern is that Elfie is sending Rosti there, and the last time Will saw Rosti he was “killed”. Hopefully this leads to Elfie admitting she is controlling Rosti. Since it would be annoying if Will still acted dense.
