I love the idea of this chapter where Rikka discovers different emotions of love as she wants to spend time with Arisu like the other girls. Essentially jealousy.
With that being said, Igarashi really could have sunk the feeling of jealousy that Rikka feels with her forcing the “I’m cutting you out of your life.” for a bit longer. It’s great to see Arisu able to pick up on how Rikka actually feels so this small plotline doesn’t drag. Which he has been good at detecting.
But I felt this is something Rikka could have drawn a lot of inspiration from in her lyrics. Which it still can, but having her not interact with Arisu for at least a day could have cut deeper into her feelings.
