We know that the priest himself is all-powerful in defeating Satan, but much as he wants to fall in love, he has his own ambitions. Essentially he wants a simple life rather than defeating Satan and his minions. His interactions with Atsuki are very sweet.
Which I would say, but in reality Atsuki is actually a succubus from Satan that is meant to seduce the priest. Quite the big play for Satan to bait Priest to protect Atsuki, which is what he really wants. Curious how things progress from here.
