So this season picks up right where S2 ended. So it seems clear that the timeline at this point is that the Bridon arc happens before S1. The only thing left for certain is when Vein kills Cheng for when he changes the past. Which is what leads to the Bridon Arc even though it left things unresolved It would make sense entering the Bridon Arc that Cheng doesn’t recall meeting Guang as a kid.
Therefore, we learn that Fei whom they befriended in the Bridon is missing. Therefore, the key is to go back into the past and see where they took him. No doubt things are getting shady where he being a host. The fact that the woman with the name Liu causes suspicon and is Xiao correlated. Also considering the fact that Tianchen is involved as well.
We do learn that Jin did not order the kill of Min Liu. So if Tianchen did kill him then could it have been his brother who made the request rather than Jim? Though given Xiao’s words he might not be the mastermind.
