It’s nice to see Sitara & Töregene reunited at the end. It seems both of them fell into the trap set by Boraqchin. Furthermore, it’s interesting how important Sitara’s talk to Sorghaghtani ended up being. Since I assume Töregene’s hands would be tied if Sorghaghtani accepted the marriage to Töregene’s son.
Though both Sitara & Töregene proceed with her revenge. Though for Ögedei what is it truly that he is after? He is well aware of even Sitara and didn’t even seem the bit annoyed when Sitara snapped for a moment.
His comment if you two can find happiness that means he has won. His idea is to unite everyone. Ögedei’sis goal is to simply win the two of them over. That means he thinks of Sitara quite highly then. The two of them set out to be witches, but it will be interesting how they would go about it.
