It’s very curious at the start of the episode that Fei ends up playing the role of double traitor to help Qiao. Still Tianchen has the qualms of going against Fei, but it’s clear that Vein cares about him. It is curious what Jae’s power is because while Tianchen can be a counter for Wang. It seems Jae is a counter to Tianchen. Though can he cancel one’s ability to use their powers I wonder?
The big emotional part of the episode is Cheng visiting the past. As he follows his father we see him seeing the conversation and promise that he and Guang had in episode 1 of this season. Heartbreaking because he does not remember this conversation. It adds to the point that Guang is hiding stuff from him, but the real question is why doesn’t he remember.
Thankfully we get the answer to this along with why his father killed his friend. Simply he tried to protect his son and Cheng was trying to save his father from being choked to death. Of course this led to the death, but blood was on Cheng’s hands. We now know his father can affect memories and you wonder if he is dead who holds that power now?
This episode after making us suspicious about what Cheng’s father has been doing we can see he was a good father setting out to protect his son. Still many questions surrounding him and next we got Cheng & Guang meeting up where it’s clear an important talk between the two will come soon.
