Well it goes without saying to never change the past. Cheng changing the past would result in his previous self more than likely being captured. Well good on him to realize that having Guang stay put was a bad call.
Very well done and tense episode. It seems that Tianchen can force Cheng outside of photos. It now makes sense why he was forced to exit out of the photo when he visited their past. Interesting how their powers work. Tianchen can control someone through touch. Tianxi can use a photo to see their perspective and even have access to their memories. Very similar to Cheng’s powers.
So the question remains how did Tianxi run away? It seems so staged because he should have been able to catch up to her. It has to be he wanted her to get away. But it is difficult to get a read on him. It feels like he isn’t completely loyal to Jin.
Well the trade of Guang and Cheng made sense. Curious how Cheng was able to teleport out of safety. Though not everything is going according to plan, so they aren’t safe here.
