A shoujo romance where the protagonist is a hybrid as a Kaiju is quite the interesting twist. More than likely, the Kaiju is an interesting representation of what possibly could be a girl feeling ugly. Which is attributed to her confidence issues. It does make you wonder how she became that way. While it makes for fun gags at the same time, Kuroe is a character that girls could relate to who have confidence issues.
The main love interest is Arata Minami who clearly has feelings for Kuroe. There isn’t too much to comment on, but it does seem that he reinvented himself entering high school. Perhaps there will be more to him as the story comes.
The most amusing character is Manatsu Tomosato. She is essentially a huge fan of Godzilla. Well, in this story, Kuroe’s Godzilla form is called Harugon. You can definitely feel the mangaka’s love for Godzilla through her. Definitely seems like a fun gag character.
