Despite Azudra taking care of the winged soldiers, interestingly enough, his main ability is how he can take control of trees no matter how big they are. Though the winged soldiers kill the ones that can’t do anymore, what we learn from Asta is that they are rarely resurrected. Of course, assessing their threat level is awkward. Right now they aren’t too much of a threat, but if they have the potential to truly be a hero, that is where things can be terrifying. Especially considering it is an army of heroes. Though, as Azudra says, the Human King is the connection. Though how to get into position to take him down is the hard part to figure out.
As Vermilio meets the witch of the island, it is quite interesting that she looks like her. Even more so, she knows where they need to go, and she knows a good deal about Helck. Especially when you figure her design looks like an older version of Vermilio.
As their travels continue, you can see Vermilio bonding with Helck more and more. At least the amount of suspicon that she had originally is starting to decrease. It’s interesting to note that when the two of them fight, the Tothman King has a regeneration ability. Curious how much this is similar to how the Winged Human Soldiers revive themselves?
