In this episode we got to learn a bit more about the Laughing Man Incident, and it centered around him and Serrano. As it seems, he aided in the development of the condition of Cyberbrain Sclerosis, and it didn’t have much effect. Which in turn the Murai vaccine got rejected. The big issue is that Serrano had too much pride 6 years ago and was ego-driven.
Though it appears that the ransom was from the Laughing Man, wasn’t the actual Laughing Man.
