Chiramune – Episode 8

You could kind of see it in Nazuna’s face when she bumped into Yuzuki’s desk that she didn’t do it intentionally. Though that didn’t stop her from antagonizing Yuzuki. Though props to Atomu for defending Nazuna because if he didn’t do that, well, things could have really escalated.

Yuzuki asks her, Saku, did she do wrong? Simply put, life can feel like it’s trying to choke you. More than likely she did nothing to warrant the stalking and all the other stuff. There comes a time you need your friends and family to provide support. Though it is clear by now that something is up with Yuzuki and her relationship with her parents.

Actually, it’s a surprise we didn’t get further in volume 2 than where we ended. Again, this covered pages 158-192. Which is a bit more into last week, but I felt we could have finished up chapter 3 in volume 2 by now. Like how they are adapting the scenes is great, but I just feel like from an anime-only perspective, the pacing might feel too slow. We still have volume 3 being adapted, but essentially we had 4 episodes + the end of episode 4 for volume 2. Unless we are getting an extended finale for episode 13, I am just puzzled what the plan is here.
