This story can be quite cruel. At first we see both Atoria and it’s odd why a healer would hate their gift. After all, they would save lives. What if their gift has a consequence, and using it shortens their life? Much is the same with Lukas. It now adds up.
Still, no doubt Julian will hate learning about this because when you consider how many lives he has. You know he would trade those lives to give those two more years.
