So essentially the one who offered Iemon the “medicine” to Oiwa was Oume who sought Iemon out. Clearly she is a spoiled granddaughter of Kihei Itou. It really shows how terrible of a person Iemon is because he accepted Kihei’s offer, considering he was already married with a child.
It is interesting to see how Oiwa’s death cursed Iemon. As he ended up killing both Oume and Kihei. Curious to learn if it truly was a curse or it was his own guilt here.
