So with Oguri & March squaring up, we got a little more insight on March. The first being that saying she is highly competitive might not be enough. When she sets her sights on a goal, she goes after it. We can see that when, in her mind, she does competition scenarios with Oguri. Though looking into her past, she, much like Oguri, was always running. Though for March she always set out to be the best. It does make Norn’s mention of those with special talent because it is clear that March’s work ethic can’t be questioned.
Though we see Oguri with her new goal, she is setting out to improve instead of just running. In the final push against March, she had a 2nd spurt. This could be seen as a combination of her training herself more and also a drive within herself. To want to beat March, which she didn’t have in their last race.
We meet Joe’s uncle, who is a trainer in Tokyo. He mentions to Joe to not have Oguri race in the Chukyo Hai. In the post-credits scene, we see mention of Rudolf, which we have a solid feel for thanks to Teio in S2. The question is, is there a connection between Joe’s uncle and Rudolf?
