With the high speculation that Miho Shirakawa is the one taking the stolen prescriptions, there is a possible correlation with the loans she took for school. But she did pay it off, as she mentions. Still, the fact that it feels like she is leading Hiroshi on is suspicious to say the least.
Most of this episode was more world-building, and more characters were introduced. Though we see Dobu pointing a gun at Hiroshi, I am very curious what this leads to.
