A bit disappointed with how the series handles the cliffhanger from the previous volume. For someone as much of an introvert as Tamon, he isn’t quite in touch with his feelings. Part of it could also be he knows dating as an idol is a big no-no. We know how obsessed he can be with Utage. What really are his feelings? Because as pure friends, isn’t that what it truly is?

Meanwhile for Utage, she feels relief that Tamon mentions viewing her as a friend. It’s clear as day she loves Tamon romantically, but of course she continues to push aside her own feelings for those around her. It is not healthy for her to do this.

We know that Ori is continuing to go after Utage, even as hopeless as that is. She doesn’t immediately reject Ori’s confession. To also add her friend’s suggestion, look at others beyond your crush. This is normally good advice because you shouldn’t be fixated on one person. At the same time, there doesn’t seem to be any attraction from Utage to Ori, so it looks like that doesn’t seem like an option.

We do see the group helping out with the show that Ori’s dad does. It does serve as a solid arc for Ori beyond his feelings for Utage. Still for Tamon, him being pissed at Ori for pursuing her leads him to realizing his feelings for Utage are closer to love than that of friends. Now curious how Tamon pushes these feelings into action.
