As Hikaru gets the aid of Naruko, it ends up being what he needs to go toe-to-toe with Sakazuki. Still, the curse that was holding back Hikaru gets turned into a guardian angel of sorts. It more so symbolizes the compassion that he has. The shift in her is essentially changing the rules that the Ghost User had.

It was shown that the love that Takeo felt for Himi was simply the fact that she was the first person who didn’t bow to what he wanted. Even more so, he didn’t give what he requested. As such, for someone who is spoiled, being denied makes them want it more. Of course, with what he did, he forced what he thought was love. In theory he could say he will be honest going forward, but love is a two-way street. No reason for Himi to even believe he deserves a chance.

Despite this series being essentially The Bachelor, it is nice that Himi is honest about how she feels about Hikaru to Ureshino. Kind of the sweet thing where just because they are into the same guy, it won’t ever change their friendship. Speaking of friendship, we also have the dynamic between Kinosaki and Hikaru that continues to be strong. There is some tease about, like, his sister. Will he go with Kinosaki even though he is a guy, unless that’s a lie? Though that means not producing an heir, which is a big can of worms.

Towards the end of the volume, we are introduced to the Gun User specialists. There are two with Leo and Miyuki. It is interesting to learn Specialiss can’t attack normal citizens like that. So curious about what the Gun Users are about to do. Why they are doing that and curious to see Leo stand up against his sister. Though with Leo down, we can only hope that Hikaru makes it there soon.
