This episode took a break from the main story of this season and focused on a side mission in Berlin. Where Batou and Major took on a mission to capture a terrorist by the name of Angel’s Feather. This mission was more so a showcase of Batou and how he differs from Major. As she has shown to be cold-blooded and able to get the mission done. Here we see that Batou ends up interacting with the daughter of the terrorist. Even when he captures the territories, there is a hesitation because he knows that the girl is waiting for his daughter to see her dad. Much like Togusa Batou has been shown to sometimes let his emotions control him a bit. Major knows this with Batou which is why she knew he had a lead.
The interesting part is that Batou’s lead came because he thought the girl saw him, but in reality she is blind and was just praying to her angel.
