This episode picks up where the last episode left off, where all the Individual Eleven minus Kuze killed themselves. Some interesting information about Kuze is that his mouth doesn’t move when he talks; it’s how he was designed. The members killing themselves is a virus, and more than likely it ties to Gohda. It makes sense to go after Kuze because if he got hit with the virus, why wasn’t he affected?
A lead had Section 9 go to the sculptor. There were two of them, but one of them was killed. As the rest of the episode focused on Paz. It seems like a former love held a grudge, and she became him. Though the Major’s remarks about whether the Paz who survived is the real one are troubling because how does anyone know? It is clear that identity theft is an even bigger issue in this setting than in real life.
