As the Raiders have gotten the Cleaners, we essentially have them grouped up in one-on-one fashion. Granted, with Cthoni’s presence as more of a spy, you have Dear & Bro up against Bundus. The fascinating thing is regarding the boss of the Cleaners, Corvus. The Cleaners don’t seem to know much about outside of maybe Semiu. The fact that it is verified as good intel makes you really wonder what he could be hiding, perhaps? Of course the information offered back is the Raiders making their own Trash Beasts, which makes sense with stuff shown earlier in the series. We also see Riyou going up against Noerde, and for Riyou it looks to be a more difficult matchup than first anticiapted.
Zodyl is an interesting character through his conversation with Rudo. The first thing to mention is that Rudo shares the same eyes as him. Does that mean that Rudo was originally from the ground? Where did Regto find him, Rudo, alone? Did Regto usually come to the ground in that case? Though Zodyl’s talk about what is normal is interesting because each part of society has a view on what is normal. You can be desensitized to what is considered normal to that specific society. But there can be a poison to what is considered normal, even being called a heretic since you are going against their common sense. The mention of how a shock can be used to bring out the truth of a person that they are keeping from you.
Which leads to Zanka & Jabber’s fight. Jabber’s fight brought out the power of Rudo’s gloves. Jabber vs. Zanka is a battle of an average Joe against innate talent. Zanka pulls out one heck of a fight, but Jabber comes out winning. The interesting part is that Zanka used to be considered the one with the talent that others failed to catch up to back home. Though Zanka was part of the Nijiku Family, which governed the ground. So it starts to make sense that Zanka is more of a brat among the Cleaners. It wasn’t until Hyo came and gave Zanka a shock to the fact he isn’t as talented as he thought he was. To even more of the point, she crushed his ideals and goals. As it is more pointless. At the very least it does seem Zanka knows he has a better idea where his skill sets are now compared to back then.
