I do like the connection that was building up with Rudo & Amo. Given that Rudo’s gloves & Amo’s boots have the same mark, they come from the same place. Given that the angels that Amo calls gave it to her and Rudo’s father gave him the gloves, creates the connection. Although given that they killed Rudo’s father, it doesn’t make sense. Unless the one in the flashback was Rudo’s father, maybe? Sadly, more pain for Amo awaits.
As for the mention of trash falling from the Sphere, there is also what Rudo saw when he was throwing it away. But what was it exactly? Perhaps it has to do with the Angels that Amo mentioned?
When the base gets attacked by the attackers, the series does an interesting job at separating them as attackers, but if not, they are supporters. Semiu is the type that can’t really fight trash beasts. Hell, her fighting skills are just pure skill, but of course, her glasses are an invaluable part of her skill set. Though I am curious if someone would become a defender if so to protect their object
The volume ends on an interesting note. The Raider’s new boss wants Rudo. It seems he is aware of what happened to Rudo. He has a point in many ways, since among the Cleaners it seems Rudo has the most agency against them. Although the boss could very well be trying to manipulate him. Curious how that goes.
