Egatae – Episode 2

This one felt like it actually focused on the characters, the big one being the relationship between Futami & Mizuki.Learning about Mizuki is good because it seems to her she loved manga and drawing. However, really, there was never really an idea that came to her. She loved drawing, but never to create a story with ideas. Honestly, I am impressed she didn’t take the lazy way out and copy popular ideas with her offer.

Which in turn looks at her relationship with Futami and she thinks quite highly of her because Futami can connect her ideas into a story. Honestly, it’s clear to me that Futami was her inspiration in many ways. While on the surface Mizuki is more composed, her drawings could be better than Futami’s. There are limitations to what Mizuki can do, and she is more than happy being Futami’s assistant.

Mizuki is the perfect assistant for Futami as she is precisely the type of support she needs, as shown in this episode.
