It’s interesting to learn that Karashi was a very logical guy. If a solution exists, then there is a formula to solve that problem. Of course, his first time going up against Akane there was no solution; their skill gap was too huge.


This approach from him is very interesting because you know the traditionalists won’t like it. Though it follows Karashi’s skillset of finding the equation that gives him the best chance at winning. As for skill for skill alone, he won’t beat Akane. So being crafty is key. Though taking a classic but doing something more modern for the audience to relate to is interesting. Stuff like rumors turning into scandals will catch the audience’s eyes. But again, will it work with the traditionalists? It is the big issue.
