This was a good volume for both Yuu & Saruogi. As he is your typical loner at school, his dynamic with Yuu is great because Yuu doesn’t condemn what Saruogi decides. Rather, he thanks him for helping find his scarf. This is the type of character this manga needs to showcase Yuu’s kindness because the rest of the cast already knows it. While Kamiya’s arc early in the series didn’t do as much for Yuu as you would like.
Still, it’s great to see Yuu’s confidence is through the roof. For Yuu, he is not relying on his girlfriend as much, and that is a good thing. Though it is clear that it is because of Micchon that he has come a long way since middle school. These last few volumes have been good and much needed for Yuu’s character.
