Violet has another assignment as a member of the Auto Memory Dolls. It’s interesting that the letter is being written for Charlotte Abelfreyja Drossel, who is the princess of the Kingdom of Drossel. She is bound to be married to Damian Baldur Flugel, who is the prince of Fluegel.
The curious part is that Violet and Charlotte are presumed to be the same age of 14. However, there is so much pressure coming for Charlotte that no doubt it feels overwhelming. As with her age, it is not a surprise she gravitated to Damian because he was the one who was rather blunt.
Losing Alberta is quite notable because she is the closest thing she has to a mother. A girl who is only 14 years old lashing out for losing her mother figure is understandable. She knows what she has to do, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t hurt.
This highlights the issue with the letters because how do you know that is their true feeling? Of course the task for the Auto Memory Dolls is to put the feelings of a person in a letter. Is this truly what they are feeling? I found the use of Charlotte and Damian writing to each other was really nice because it really puts out what they genuinely feel since a 3rd party can interrupt their feelings in a way that is more romantic.
At the end of the episode, we have people recognizing Violet from her past. Which feels pretty concerning.
