As Oguri keeps moving forward, her conversation with March is a good one. As we can see, the change in March’s appearance in a way also illustrates the difference in where these two friends stand. Despite Oguri’s goal of the Tokai Derby and Japanese Derby, she didn’t get to compete in them. Though of course she has made a huge impact since Rudolf recruited her. Of course, March is still guiding Oguri by mentioning aiming to be the best, which means beating Tamamo Cross.
Though for March she is clearly going through a rough time. Oguri is the first one in regionals who beat her, and as given in her conversation, it definitely seems her confidence is a bit shaken. Though it is sweet for Oguri to try to cheer her up because we know Oguri isn’t the most sociable character we have seen. The gap between these two has widened, but you can say their friendship has grown. Though the hope is March can overcome these hurdles and meet Oguri.
Though now Oguri’s next event, despite being a G2, is being called a Super G2 given the competition, it will be curious to see how Oguri does.
