‘Tis Time for “Torture,” Princess Season 2 is finally here. Should you watch S2? If you enjoyed S1 and want more, then yes? If not, it’s a pass; it is as simple as that. S2 kicks off right where S1 left off. As a pure fun gag comedy, Hime-sama gets “tortured” and lets out secrets in the majority of the sessions. The cast is as lively as it was in S1.
Production-wise, PINE JAM is back after S1 was a big success. Honestly, S2 looks better than S1. If you are looking for a series to have a good time watching, this is the perfect one. Just don’t expect it to go away from the formula that it stuck to in S1.
I do have to say that more than just the visual, the comedic execution hits an improvement in this season. Meaning those who read the manga will get a great new experience to relive the comedy. While for anime-onlies, if the comedy worked for you in S1, then you will love it even more.
If you are looking for a feel-good comedy, this is a great one to watch.
