Yuu finally getting to meet Shikimori’s mom was quite interesting. She offers a stern contrast to her daughter. She really loves her daughter and is a good judge of character. Coming from Yuu’s dad & Micchon’s talk, this felt equivalent to a talk between a mother and girlfriend. Considering the gender norms swapped. It is good to see Micchon has a loving family.
Nice little focus between the girls. More so for Kamiya to really feel part of their group. In particular, her dynamic with Hachimitsu is loads of fun. It’s good to see Kamiya finding her own place now. I also like the focus on Yuu’s parents. We know Yuu takes after her father. Makoto is someone who isn’t the most expressive, but just because someone isn’t expressive doesn’t mean they feel emotions. We know how much Makoto cares for her family and for Micchon as well.
