Overall, a very sweet volume. Shikimori mentioned Yu’s kindness before, and an example of that was him trying to save the kid who was lost from her mom. Granted he didn’t help, but the point is he doesn’t think twice when doing a good act. The part of him carrying his girlfriend to the fireworks spot kind of is the point that he still wants to act like a boyfriend even if he is more of a pretty face. Also, it is funny seeing the dad save them when Yu tripped. Kind of showing the genders are reversed regarding both parents. Probably explains why Yu’s dad looks so old because Makoto’s bad luck must have been stressful.
