This episode carries us to the events of episode 1, where we finally get an understanding of why Tanya is praying in episode 1, given what God is putting her through. Quite the power she has. It is most curious when Adelheid von Schugel mentions that with the device he created, he spoke with God. Especially considering Tanya mentions he is an atheist.
