While the last episode showcased the genius and success of Ryuumon. This episode did a great job focusing on the failure of Wajima. It is a reminder that in war, results are the thing that matters most. Of course, it is easy in hindsight to cast blame on Wajima after the fact, but she was still pressed with a tough decision. Yayakichi decides to allow the blame to be put on him so Wajima can push forward. If Wajima lost all respect, things would only be a mess going forward.

No surprise that his sons and Wajima wanted nothing to do with this plan. As Yayakichi is a genius strategist, more than likely his worth, especially potentially going up against Kaku is worth so much. Still Yasuke understood what his father was trying to do, and the worst thing they could do was undermine his father’s resolve. So now Yasuke will have to step into his father’s shoes. Very curious how he does going forward.
