Monochrome Days – Chapter 25

One fantastic aspect this chapter mentions is the hook vs. entertainment. Unlike with a one-shot, you can just give your best product and entertain your readers. With a serialization, which is being distributed chapter by chapter, you would want to get your reader to continue reading. Balancing the two is important. You need to add intrigue, but at the same time you can’t bore your readers; otherwise, they won’t care for the hook. There are multiple ways to hook your audience, as the two younger mangaka have their own ways. Now it is up to Wakaba to figure out her own way.

Barazono remembered the letter that Wakaba wrote when she read her manga. More than likely that left an impression on her and really makes its way to make for a sweet moment. Very curious for her to push for Wakaba’s dreams of drawing manga alongside her hero. It seems a fire is lit within Wakaba now.
