The story keeps growing deeper and more involved for each party. Fei in particular is shown with Cheng’s father. So he was working with the organization that Xiao Liu is after. Could his father be the one affecting his memories? Much like Cheng he lost his memories. Why is this the case? It could imply something painful in Cheng’s future if he finds out.
Still, it is clear at this point Fei is intentionally lying to Guang regarding his connection to Vein. Guang knows that the signal that Tianchen gave him in the past is something you give when you are associated with each other.
The even more concerning part is how Qiao meeting with Xiao Liu. Even more so is the point that it could be possible that Qiao inherited Tianxi’s powers. Which makes her meeting Xiao Liu even more concerning.
Good to see Cheng going into the past, but acting as Vein is already something one would need to proceed carefully.. But his father is watching over both younger versions of Vein and Fei. No doubt that will be tough for Cheng given how he was when he went into the past as Wang.
