It was really nice to see Qiao guide Cheng back home. I think this brings an interesting contrast with his mom. His mom is trying to bring back the husband she had lost. For Cheng it is important to return to the family that he has. Makes me wonder if what Cheng needs to do is point out that he is still alive. She mentions she wants to bring back her family, but her son is alive and well.
The scene between Cheng and a young Guang is great. It does give Cheng some closure about him forgetting about Guang when he was young. He might have forgotten about Guang, but Guang hasn’t forgotten. Regardless I what happened Cheng is Guang’s precious friend. Which is what Cheng needed to hear.
Interesting to see that Jae can even bring back memories that were erased. It’s difficult to suggest whether he inherited Cheng’s dad’s powers or not. Still what is Cheng’s mom’s aim here? Considering the Liu family’s connection to the Cheng family.
