Curious on the partnership of Jae & Wang. We know that Jae is after Vein. Though it is clear that there are uncertainties between Wang and Cheng’s mom. Perhaps one could say Wang is a victim of Cheng’s mom.
As Cheng went to face what his parents are dealing with he leapt into another photo while he was in a photo. His mom recognizes that the Cheng in front of him isn’t the kid self. Through her we see that she continued to push forward in finding a way to save her husband. Rather than give up and go back to the present to regroup she kept leaping in photo after photo and now she is lost.
It’s a bit of an odd decision to show the mom being lost before we see Cheng realize he is stuck. Also the matter that it only takes 1 consecutive jump to ruin things. Unless this is an issue more with Cheng. One thing that is clear from this episode is that the moment you leap into a photo from a photo the connection to your actual self is separated. How does Cheng make it back? The one thing we can tell is that Cheng’s mom can switch to the bodies of the photos she jumped in. More than likely she did jump in as Wang at some point. It is curious if she truly doesn’t have access to Wang anymore.
Still what does she mean by finding the person who disrupted her plan? Clearly she had the intention of bringing her husband back. I can only wonder if it is something that Cheng did.
