This episode very much carries over the intensity of the cliffhanger of S1. A possessed Qiao stabbing Guang. The scene is so intense because not only does Guang’s life hang in the balance, but also Qiao. Whoever this is they are very dangerous. It was smart of them to announce a cover that Guang is dead. Still for Cheng no surprise he struggles to leave knowing that Qiao was possessed once before.
