For the most part this episode focused on the problem of Qiao’s friend Shanshan Xu. She was too drunk to hear what Dong Yi said and was bashful about asking him. Overall it’s a really sweet love story where Shanshan stayed in school to be with him and for Dong he knew once he left school he would leave Shanshan. The point of him being noncommittal was because he didn’t want to raise her feelings. Though it seems he is ready to make the push forward.
The real issue is how it connects to the case that Lihua is now connected to. Guang didn’t want to get involved, but of course when Cheng is in Shanshan’s body he seeks a shady person and ends up accidentally catching him. Though the real issue it seems that Shanshan is caught between a shady group. More than likely the issues run deeper. Curious how Cheng is handling this because this is the 2nd time going to the past he affected the future of the client.
