Liar Game – Volume 4

We are moving on to the next game, where the team from the revival round forms the Southern Country while the others form the Northern Country. Essentially, the game is about stealing money and being able to get it across. The interesting thing about this game is that despite being a team game, there is individual risk involved. As each player has money in a 3rd country. How much you smuggle and how much you call inspection play a role.

We see that early on when the team is in disarray. Though Kikuzawa brings a spark to the team, the other members submit to him. It adds up that Yokoyo was using Kikuzawa, as that is the only way things were able to go as cleanly as they went for both of them. Yokoyo mentions the Liar Game is about domination, and we can see that as Kukuzawa causes the other team members to submit, we have Yokoyo dominating from a perspective. If Akiyama didn’t figure out things regarding Kikuzawa being a rat, things could have gotten to be a lot worse.

Granted, we do learn that Kikuzawa was bullied by Yokoyo which is probably why he submitted to him. Though since Yokoyo cut him up, this could be Nao’s opportunity to shine and unite everyone. Curious how things continue on.
