The chapter title Princess highlights Chihiro’s mother, Chiaki. She is the incarnation of Goddess Izanami, and they can predict threats to Japan. Though to think this wasn’t something she knew about and she was a normal girl. We do know that Kunishige and she end up together. It is interesting that with the two Soga siblings, we have Akemura seeking to do great things, while for Chiaki it is clear she wants her normal life back.
