This episode picks up right after the previous one ended with Togusa shot. Still, Major and company extract the memories that Togusa had. It is clear there is something going on with the Sunflower Society, but what exactly?
It became a race to see who could secure Imakurusu first. Batou does, but unfortunately he gets shot when Batou isn’t looking. It does seem like “The Laughing Man” is that chief back in the Cyber Closed Shell Syndrome episode. Sadly, he escapes as he hacks Batou who is now unable to see him. So where does Section 9 go from here?
