This episode was interesting as it focused on capitalism and greed. As for Kanemoto Yokose, he is a brilliant mathematician who was able to figure out stocks with a program to earn more money than one could ever need. Fem’s disgust in him makes sense because you have the rich outearning the majority of the population.
Though the ironic part is that Yokose was already dead for a few years. He created a moneymaker program that has quite the interesting name to it. It shows the genius he was, but the gangsters didn’t even know it wasn’t even him. Capitalism is already an issue, but this man was making money even after he was dead, when he clearly doesn’t need it, as Togusa mentions. The scary part is that the program is still ongoing, which shows the danger of cyber intelligence.
