Gachiakuta – Volume 15

Folly & Rudo getting into an argument while they are dealing with a trash beast is frustrating. At least learning about Folly’s past was interesting. He was part of a friend group where one of them wanted to be a giver. We do find out that not only did he fail, but that friend became a recluse that isolated himself. Folly was mostly projecting his friend onto Rudo. Granted, Rudo could have handled that better, but he is still learning to work with people.

In an interesting turn, Folly becomes a giver. Supposedly that is something unprecedented. It is clear, at least it has to be because of Rudo. Essentially we know Rudo makes the most of an object until it is disregarded. More than likely, Rudo applies his Anima to those objects to give them one last push. Though in Folly’s case, Rudo provided the Anima to Folly to create the spark to unlock his giver potential. Thus the object that Folly’s friend gave him became his vital instrument. Many questions to wonder: How is Folly’s potential as a giver? What exactly is Rudo’s gift here? Is this a one-time thing, or will it happen again?

Tamsy in particular clearly wanted Folly to die to put Rudo into misery. Of course that failed, but he didn’t push it but, more so, didn’t want to stop it. Though it is still concerning what he plans on next. Amo now joins Rudo’s group with Riyou as her trainer. Given Riyou’s past, it gives some concerns. Still, what can Amo provide to this group because of the connection with her boots? As the power of her boots was mishandled, Enjin won’t let that fly.

As the festival draws near, we see Zanka is continuing to work hard. Though it looks like Hyo will be around for it.
