Gachiakuta – Volume 10

More and more, the way Zodyl’s mind works becomes more and more disturbing. Even after Rudo can take care of the Trash Beast, he still calls the experiment a success. Just the claim of crossing the border and living. Of course, in most people’s minds, they would see they didn’t cross the border to the sphere. Though the biggest thing is that Zodyl looks at his own men as guinea pigs to a degree. As he didn’t shed a tear at what seems to be Noerde’s death. In what seems to be her death. It is interesting how he and Enjin bring people together but how different their personalities are. The last thing to add is when Noerde mentions the border is the watchman. It seems like learning about the Watchmen series more is the next step.

Even with everything going on, Zanka’s character has been impressive in how he is trying to help Rudo. As it is clear that Rudo wants to help find Amo, revenge isn’t the only thing he desires. Of course a life of just revenge isn’t something anyone should go for, but Zanka won’t stand in Rudo’s way. He gives him that push for Rudo to reach a hand out to the younger givers, which is nice to see.

Though interesting enough, as the volume ends, we see the Hell Guard showing up. Which seems to be the organization that we saw in Zanka’s flashback. I guess one might assume now they heard of Rudo being under the Cleaner’s protection. Now the Cleaners have both the Hell Guard and the Raiders to concern themselves with.
