Dorohedoro – Volume 11

It is interesting how the contract in and of itself would rot if you rejected it. More than likely, I doubt devils would think one would reject the contract. Even in the case when they forced it onto Nikaidou, it feels clear the approach En has taken has not been effective if Nikaidou is on the verge of dying at this point.

Now that the curse has been lifted from Caiman, it seems the thing that was inside of him went back to Risu. It seems more than likely that the one who cursed Caiman was Ebisu. Though why was Risu inside of Caiman in that case? Is Risu’s true form a devil named Curse? It’s difficult to see, but speculation is that this is the magic that Doakiu feared.

So Caiman is 99% likely to be Aikawa, and since it seems clear that Risu isn’t the leader of the Crosseyes, then Aikawa/Caiman being their leader makes sense. Another thing that is clear is that Aikawa has his memories as Caiman, as he was trying to avoid her again. Once again we have Caiman and Nikaidou meeting again only for them to drift apart. I do have to commend the consistency for Nikaidou to want to do that despite the shape she is in. Still, what is exactly so dangerous about her time magic that she has committed to not using it?

The confusing part of this volume is it seems En encounters the leader of the CrossEyes. Could there be two personalities within Caiman? Well, he does take En out, or at least he would need Noi to patch him up in a hurry. The big mystery surrounding both Caiman and Risu adds another layer. Are these two connected in some way?
