Before we get the party tackling the Red Dragon, a bit of focus on the world that this series takes place in. It’s interesting to learn that dwarves and elves have been hostile with each other in the past while we have two of them in the party. Also, the creator of the dungeon was an elf. It’s interesting that the elves want the dungeon despite it being in dwarf territory, so the feud is still well underway. Though it makes sense why they would be after the dungeon if it is tied to the immortality spell. At the very least, it sounds like this conflict could get ugly.
It would be a surprise if the fight with them went as planned. For Senshi his cooking tools are quite potent. Which even adds more to the mystery of who he is. Laios’s secret is out that his sword is basically a monster. Good, they defeated the dragon, but sadly Falin was already dead. Though Marcille can resurrect her. Though the worry here is that, unlike with the resurrection we saw before, they had to use the dragon as part of the spell. The idea of resurrecting the dead is uncomfortable enough, but given that they just had to find Falin’s bones makes it even more uncomfortable.
One clear thing is that the part seems to be holding secrets from each other outside Chilchuck. Granted, Laios’s only secret is out in the open. Though Senshi as mentioned, is just filled with surprises. While for Marcille we learn that her research in magic is tied to forbidden or dark magic. She does bring up the point that there is no good or bad in magic; it is how you use it. Though I doubt that is an argument she would win. One thing that is interesting is that Marcille doesn’t know what a dark elf is.
At least with Falin back, everything is going well. Though the appearance of what is a dark elf draws concern.
