Probably the main heartbreaking part of this chapter is Shiguma not being able to talk. When you consider the fact that such a scare happened, she now wants to do more than just prove Issho wrong. But she hopes to perform at her highest before something unfortunate happens to Shiguma again. It’s his time Akane is being pressured by, but not her own.
Though her comment of only needing Rakugo. Obviously she is locked in, but I do wonder if there is some concern in her saying that.
